Rachel, I’m using MyDoma – at least I’ve have paid for it and setting everything on there! MyDoma offers great support! We’ll see how it goes once I’m up and running and completely set up. . . however . . .
the time tracking idea on paper sounds good to me . . . doesn’t MyDoma help us with this or it’s too hard to keep up with there? The color coding of the different categories is straight from a teacher’s heart to mine, Sara!! Danielle, ClickUp looks nice and I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you. Oana, sounds like you’re a tech savvy gal, so kuddos to you!!Questions for Sara and all:
1) What do you all recommend if you don’t have a team yet doing during the time slot for team meeting time?
2) I tend to be afraid of hiring . . . but after this class, I’m convinced that I must have help and start a team! Even if it’s just one team member for now!
3) But I don’t have a hiring process . . . yet.
a. Sara will you be sharing any details about hiring/and process in class before we end?
b. How do you all handle the training of a team member?

It’s late on Monday night – couldn’t get to sleep so here I am responding!
It’s such an awesome course – just what I needed as I transition from home staging for almost 10 years to interior design. I’ve completed my questionnaire and trying to figure out the remaining gaps in my MyDoma packages, working on intake process and other details for my website.
You have a gift in presentation of information that makes sense and is motivating.
You will probably touch on this- I hope so – but I’m not sure what specifics the design fee (especially the full design one) covers. Are you going to explain this in class?
For instance, I’m sure a portion of the design fee is allotted for professional photos, some toward overhead expenses, paying yourself & team . . I am just not sure and I don’t want to leave out anything and ‘have to eat it’ when I land a project!
Packages and pricing the package is the way to go and I love your model of this, Sara!
I like it when you talk about confidence. I’ve had a few leads but they don’t follow through and hire me. 2 this past week – actually so I’m beginning to get a little introspective!
