Lucia here. I had a busy few weeks filled with installs and missed the first 3 classes (currently catching up). A quick “about me” I, like Jackie, was a fashion designer in NYC for 2 decades and loved every bit of it, BUT after covid my husband and I decided to make the move to North Carolina (waxhaw) with our two children.
We’ve been in NC for almost two years now… I then decided to transition into Interior Design bc reality is I need an outlet of creativity but cannot tolerate or function in chaos. I just made a year in business this past February and could write a book with all the lessons learned but super grateful for them. I happened to get an opportunity to work on commercial spaces (Apartment rentals: clubhouse, model homes, leasing offices) but I am trying to build outside of that into residential projects.
Right now I have certain processes in place but know that there is a-lot of room for improvement. So here we are, trying to do it right from the start and learn the proper process.
