As promised, below are 10 questions that will help you refine your Core Values.
You don’t have to send back the answers to these questions. Instead, I want to challenge you in 2 ways.
1 – With the Core Values you have already come up with, ask yourself, “Are these really my Core Values?”
2 – Create at least 1 story (a specific moment in time) that illustrates each Core Value.
Here are the 10 questions:
1.) Who are you? (NOT what you do)
2.) What makes you feel most alive and excited?
3.) What gets you upset or annoyed when you see it happening? (ie: someone bullying another person)
4.) What kind of parent/partner/local community member are you striving to be?
5.) What do people say about you when you’re not in the room?
6.) What’s the legacy you want to leave?
7.) What behaviors or qualities do I admire most in others?
8.) What gets you out of bed every morning?
9.) What lessons or teachings guide my thinking during hardships?
10.) How do I want clients to feel after working with me?
Have a great week!
