Thanks Melanie! I just spoke to a sales rep with CA today, and she said I would have to upgrade to CA in order to have a feature that will convert CAD files to walls, etc within CA.
I also was able to put in a request for a VERY discounted AutoCAD and Revit through a nonprofit I started, so we’ll see how that pans out. If so, it will save me $$$$. I keep seeing online that this is the standard software now among architects.
I just don’t want to have to spend time tracing over drawings, because my software isn’t compatible with what the architects use…esp. since collaborating with builders and architects is what I’m aiming for.
