I’ve been using chief architect for a long time, I also have home designer pro, but chief has more options structure-wise. One drawback is the drawing object capability within the program-if you want to draw items, I find it takes a long time to master. You can import from warehouse, and more and more companies are adding 3-D objects to the libraries. Also, it is a pretty long learning curve-especially if you don’t use it a lot. It’s great for presentations tho, which is my favorite aspect.
